PBC Analyzer PRO - FREE Mode
THE AIM for this post is to let you know I’ve implemented a free version of my PBC Analyzer PRO app that will allow you to try out all the features paid-tier subscribers have been enjoying except for the ability to analyze your own data. With this free version you can see how easy it is to spot signals in time-series data and adapt analyses for deeper insights.
Start here:
Point your browser to:
https://pbc-analyzer-pro.onrender.com/freeMode
From here, click Select Data Column to choose a data set to analyze:
Click the (?) icon to pull up a quick how-to guide about the app and how to use it:
Play!
The aim of the app is to teach how process behaviour charts work by creating and interacting with them to find patterns and signals of variation.
Load a data column and observe the signals you see in the data. Adapt the analysis by clicking data points to shift the limits and break the chart down into segments. Try flipping into Baseline Mode and calibrating the chart’s limits around a new mean. Toggle the Sigma Units bands on to see The Empirical Rule in action.
Stuck? Click the (?) icon to bring up a help file with explanations of the features and how they are used.
Easter Egg
You may notice a couple of charts that don’t seem quite right. I’ve left them in the data set to show how the Select Date Format drop-down works. Be sure to try it with other data columns.
Export to Excel
Want to see how the calculations are done? Share your analysis with others? Click Export to Excel to save your creation to a formatted worksheet with highlights matching the Rule 1 and Rule 2 signals in the chart.
Like, Share, Comments
Let me know what you think about the app in the comments below and share it with others who you think might want to learn about how to spot signals of variation in everyday data! Try it out with your spouse, peers, or kids to see what they spot in the examples.
For those who want to use the app in their work, or to analyze their own data, sign up as a subscriber and I will ensure you get added to the list for full access.
